Grosh Guitars is seeking an experienced and talented guitar painter/polisher. This person’s primary responsibilities will include painting and polishing guitars as well as managing all phases of the painting and polishing process, including interim steps that may involve sanding, woodworking, finishing and related activities. This person will also be called upon to fill other general shop needs as they arise.
The ideal candidate will have two to three years of experience painting/polishing guitars or other products that employ similar techniques, processes, finishes and materials (i.e., autobody painter). They must be highly motivated, self-sufficient and team oriented. Absolute attention to detail and focus on quality is a must. The candidate must be familiar with the latest painting/polishing techniques, technology, materials and finishes.
The candidate must be able to stand for long periods of time; use hands to sand, handle and feel objects, tools and controls; lift and/or move objects up to 50 lbs; bend, reach, crouch and kneel.
Compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and skills.
