Sunset ‘79

  • A Sunset Strip Inspired ElectraJet

Don Grosh grew up and got his start in Southern California. The Sunset '79 epitomizes that late 70s/early 80s LA hard rock scene with tone & playability that only Grosh can deliver. With a one piece maple neck, dual Grosh humbuckers mounted directly to the body, & rear-routed electronics, the '79 is aggressive & focused. The Grosh-original body design lends a look & sonic signature that is familiar yet all its own.

  • Built To Rock Like No Other

Finally, this is the first Grosh to be designed from the ground up with a Floyd Rose tremolo. Everything about this guitar screams "ROCK", but it doesn't end there ... roll back the volume to get some of the most amazingly soulful jazz, blues and funk tones. Featuring master-grade, tone-tapped woods, ultra-thin nitro-lacquer finish and handcrafted Grosh pickups.

  • Pure Passion • Pure Tone

It all begins with Don Grosh himself. His vision, his standards and his craftsmanship. He selects the materials and oversees his team as they craft your Sunset ‘79. Don does the finish work and the final assembly himself. He puts his master craftsmanship into every instrument built at Grosh Guitars. Contact us today to start your dream guitar build!
