Guitarist • Songwriter • Producer

The Boneshakers • Was (Not Was) • Mindi Abair

Funky, Inventive, Soulful and Busy! All this and more describes the artistry of Detroit Native Randy Jacobs!

Randy has a long list of credits with a career that goes back over 40 years. And it includes just about every genre there is! A guy doesn't get asked to play with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, Mindi Abair, Seal, Tears For Fears and Bruce Hornsby unless his touch, tone and time is peerless. Randy may be best known as a member of the supergroup Was (Not Was). He even co-wrote their biggest hit "Walk The Dinosaur." These days, when he isn't working with acts like Depeche Mode or General Public, he's focused on his blues rock group with saxophonist Mindi Abair the Boneshakers. We at Grosh Guitars are proud to be along for that funky ride!
