Small Block 302 Humbucker
The Small Block 302 is the Grosh-inspired evolution of the traditional PAF-style humbucker. We voiced the Small Block 302 to sound incredibly alive, organic and musical in all configurations and types of guitars. While capturing the essence of the traditional PAF humbucker tone, the 302 has much more harmonic content, openness, depth and clarity. The neck pickup is fat, rich and warm. The bridge pickup is big and bold, and cuts like a knife - great clean or for lead playing. The tone is very organic and 3-dimensional with excellent string-to-string definition. Whether you’re looking for clean and jazzy, bluesy, or all out rock-n-roll, 302 will get you there. Alnico IV magnet (neck) and Alnico V magnet (bridge). Output: ~8k neck, ~9k bridge. Available in nickel, black or zebra. All Grosh pickups are wax potted and handcrafted in our shop using only the highest quality components.
Small Block 327 Humbucker
The Small Block 327 is the Grosh-inspired evolution of the traditional PAF-style humbucker with "a little more." Like the Small Block 302, the 327 is voiced to sound incredibly alive, organic and musical in all configurations and types of guitars but with a little more output. While still capturing the essence of the traditional PAF humbucker tone, the 327 has a little more "kick" to it but retains all harmonic content, openness, depth and clarity of the 302. Our most popular HH configuration is the 302 in the neck and 327 in the bridge, giving the player fat, rich and warm tones in all positions with a little more "push" in the bridge position. The tone is very organic and 3-dimensional with excellent string-to-string definition. Alnico V magnets. Output: ~8.4k neck, ~9.5k bridge. Available in nickel, black or zebra.
